Xactlyit is a marketing services firm that works exclusively with organizations that sell into IT.

Team Members

Scott has been working in high-tech sales and marketing for over 25 years with organizations ranging from startups to large companies. He offers experience and insight into multiple facets of the marketing mix from research and branding to product marketing and demand gen marketing. Scott brings special expertise in partner program development and partner marketing, most recently functioning as the VP Partner Marketing for CA in North America. In his career, he has built up the General DataComm reseller business as VP Sales, was part of the senior executive team that evolved Adlex from $1M to $12M in four years leading to a successful acquisition by CompuWare, and architected the entry of AMP Electronics into the network reseller business as Director of Channel Sales and Marketing.

Scott is a best-practices resource for end-user demand gen programs especially in greenfield markets, where many resellers have operated. He has an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a BS in Mathematics from Tufts University.

Jim began his technology-marketing career with a Dun & Bradstreet company, Focus Research, in 1986.  In 1988 he became manager of special projects for DataQuest where he was responsible for data analysis and survey development.  In 1990 he left Dun & Bradstreet to help start a new marketing services company, Winn Technology Group, and eventually formed MarkITelligence.  Jim has been working with Xactlyit, since its inception in 2009 and currently operates as its managing partner across all functions.
Stephanie is an experienced expert in B2B technology content development. She works extensively with Xactlyit clients on a variety of content-intensive projects, such as blog development, collateral development, newsletters, web site content, and more.
Chas Dewing is our project leader for video and webinar productions. He also functions as our “emcee” for any Xactlyit-hosted webcasts that we produce for our clients.
Jo Ellen Collins brings more than 20 years of pioneering marketing leadership and e-business development for emerging and established high technology, media/content management, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. She has been a key player in positioning businesses to add value through rapid revenue growth and operational efficiencies. Much of her marketing experience has been in support of the channel. Most recently she was Vice President, Marketing at IMN. Before joining IMN, Jo Ellen was Director, Marketing Communications with Nuance Communications, Inc. She also held marketing positions with Brooks-PRI Automation, Workscape, Inc., CMGI, Inc. True Software, and others. Jo Ellen holds an MBA in marketing from Babson College and a BA in psychology from Humboldt State University.
David is an independent Web designer and developer with 15 yrs experience hand-coding HTML emails and developing interactive web sites. He has created web sites and HTML emails for major clients such as McAfee, Oracle, Netapp, Dell, Riverbed, VMWare, and MetLife, just to name a few.
Daniel has over 15 years’ experience in print and web design. He is highly motivated, creative, and versatile. Daniel’s skills and experience with branding, website design, and event media serve him in his ability to produce extremely creative work for clients of all sizes. Adept at creating original user experiences for the web and multimedia applications, he is able to develop design concepts that artfully capture the essential character of a customer’s brand.
Several years ago Ron transitioned from a 25+ year career as an executive in retailing to branch out on his own providing event management services and consulting. Having attended every type of event imaginable when he was on the client-side he brings a critical perspective to what is required to achieve each client’s goals. The challenge is understanding the business objectives of the event, doing the detailed research and delivering a “Wow!” factor.  Ron has managed events as large as 75 people for a week at the Ryder Cup in Chicago in 2012, but his sweet spot is the 15 to 30 attendees at the executive club, steak house, sporting venue, museum, etc. that typify the needs of the Xactlyit client base. Ron works out of Central Florida, serving all of the US and Canada.
